Have you ever tried to make something special and after you put in your best effort, it still came out a disaster?
Well, that happened to me 13 years ago when I convinced myself that I could make my daughter’s 3rd birthday cake. However with no training, tools or idea of what this was going to take, I dove in the deep. And well… it didn’t go as planned.
That’s when I dug in my heals and realized I stumbled upon a new path that opened doors for me and my family. I am so blessed with a very supportive family that encourages and promotes me and my business every day. They are my motivation.
Looking back, that cake will forever be on my mind to remind me that sometimes all it takes is to ignore the fear, take the shot and believe you can do better every time.
